Salman Khan announces new film with Vamshi Paidipally

Mumbai, Mar 30: Bollywood actor Salman Khan on Monday announced his next film, an action drama to be directed by filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju.

Taking to X, Salman shared a picture with Vamshi and wrote, “Dil, Dimag, Jigar se from this April with @directorvamshi and #DilRaju,” confirming that the project will go on floors next month.

Production house Sri Venkateswara Creations also announced the collaboration, stating that Salman Khan will be joining hands with the blockbuster filmmaker for the project, tentatively titled #SVC63, which is expected to begin shooting in April.

Vamshi Paidipally, known for directing films like Munna, Brindavanam, Yevadu, and the National Award-winning Maharshi, has also helmed the Tamil blockbuster Varisu starring Vijay.

Producer Dil Raju, who has backed over 60 films, has won two National Film Awards for Maharshi and Shatamanam Bhavati. This marks the first collaboration between Salman Khan, Vamshi Paidipally, and Dil Raju, although the director-producer duo has previously delivered several successful films together.

Meanwhile, Salman is also preparing for the release of his upcoming war drama Maatrubhumi, directed by Apoorva Lakhia and produced under Salman Khan Films. The movie features Salman as an Indian Army Colonel leading his troops in a battle against a larger Chinese force, depicting a story of courage, sacrifice, and resilience.

The film was initially scheduled for release on April 17 but has been postponed, with a new release date yet to be announced.
