Mapusa, Mar 30: Mapusa Police have taken custody of Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra, owners of the fire-ravaged ‘Birch by Romeo Lane’ nightclub, in connection with a fake No Objection Certificate (NOC) case.

The Luthra brothers were brought from Colvale Jail as part of the ongoing investigation into the alleged forgery of a Health Department NOC, which was used to obtain an excise licence for the establishment.

Police sources said the case relates to securing mandatory clearances through forged documents, which are required for operating such commercial establishments.
