Life Insurance Corporation of India offices to remain open on Mar 31

Mumbai, Mar 30: Branches of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) across the country will remain open on March 31 to facilitate policyholders in depositing their insurance premiums.

March 31 is a public holiday on account of Mahavir Jayanti.

LIC said in a statement that all offices will function as per normal working hours on Tuesday to avoid inconvenience to policyholders.

The move is in line with an advisory issued by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) on March 25, 2026, it added.
