Noida, Mar 28: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurated Phase 1 of the Noida International Airport in Jewar, marking a major boost to connectivity and infrastructure in Uttar Pradesh.

The Prime Minister arrived at the venue in Greater Noida for the launch, sharing the stage with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, along with senior officials and dignitaries.

Ahead of the inauguration, a sacred artefact of Gautama Buddha was presented to the Prime Minister, adding a ceremonial significance to the event.

The launch of the airport’s first phase is expected to significantly enhance regional connectivity and drive economic growth across the state and the National Capital Region.

Addressing the gathering, Yogi Adityanath welcomed the Prime Minister and said the project would elevate Uttar Pradesh’s development trajectory. He also referred to global uncertainties, citing rising petroleum prices and economic challenges worldwide.

The inauguration of Phase 1 of the Noida International Airport is being seen as a key milestone in the state’s infrastructure expansion, aimed at attracting investment and strengthening economic activity in the region.
