St Aloysius University holds 'AL-Wellness' essential health check-up camp

Mangaluru, Mar 26: Al-Empower (MSW HR forum) of the MSW department, in association with the HR department of St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), Mangalore, in collaboration with Anantha Arogyam, successfully organized a Medical Camp titled 'AL-Wellness' on March 25 at Joseph Willy Hall, Maffei Block.

Shijomon Yesudhas, co-founder of Global Degrees, Mangalore and Manipal, graced the occasion as the chief guest. In his address, he congratulated the HR forum for organizing such meaningful initiatives for the welfare of staff and students. The programme was presided over by Dr Sajimon P P, associate dean, School of Arts and Humanities. In his message, he emphasized that being aware of one’s health is one of the most important responsibilities individuals must undertake.

The medical camp witnessed active participation, with Mediquest Healthcare conducting free blood investigations for 135 participants. General health check-ups were carried out by medical professionals, and medicines were distributed to the beneficiaries.

Organic products from Anantha Arogyam were displayed during the event, and their health benefits were explained to the participants.

Dr Vidya Vinutha D’Souza, forum coordinator and assistant dean of School of Arts and Humanities welcomed the gathering and also compered the event. The programme was also attended by Sahasra Rao, chairperson, HR department; Dr Dinesh Naik, co-chair, HR department; and Alister Shaun D’Souza, president, HR forum.

The health camp was efficiently coordinated by Dr Abhishek T R and team from Anantha Arogyam and Raghavendra Gangully from Mediquest Healthcare.
