Mangaluru: PhD awarded to Vidya Kumari of St Aloysius Deemed to be University

Mangaluru, Mar 24: Vidya Kumari, assistant professor, School of Information Technology, St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), has been awarded the PhD degreefor her thesis titled ‘Biometric Encoding and Authentication Protocols for Secure Digital Payment’ from Mangalore University.

She carried out her research under the guidance of senior professor Dr B H Shekar, department of computer science, Mangalore University.

She is the proud daughter of U Ramesh Achar and late K Pushpa, wife of Chandrashekar Santhosh Kumar, daughter-in-law of G Gopala Acharya and late Shashikala, and mother of G Samvid Acharya.
