Mumbai, Mar 23: Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh made a joint public appearance on Sunday, stepping out for lunch amid ongoing social media chatter over her silence regarding his latest blockbuster Dhurandhar: The Revenge.
As the couple exited a restaurant, fans gathered in large numbers and greeted Ranveer with chants of “Babbar Sher”. The actor acknowledged the crowd with a smile and wave, while Deepika appeared cheerful as the duo made their way through tight security.

The outing marked their first appearance together since the film’s release and comes amid online debate over Deepika’s absence from promotional support. She had earlier skipped the special screening of the film in Mumbai, but was later seen attending a concert in the city with her in-laws.
Social media users also pointed out that she did not share any posts endorsing Ranveer’s film, drawing comparisons with Yami Gautam, who has actively supported her husband and the film’s director Aditya Dhar.
Despite the discussion, Deepika has chosen not to respond publicly.
