Mumbai, Mar 22: The romantic drama Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, starring Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor, has now been released on OTT platforms, offering audiences a heartfelt story centred on love, identity and emotional connection.

Directed by Santosh Singh, the film follows Jahaan, a visually impaired musician, and Saba, a stage artist, who meet during a train journey from Delhi to Dehradun. Without revealing their true identities, the two gradually develop a deep bond. Saba, who is preparing for a role as a blind character, blindfolds herself during the journey, unknowingly mirroring Jahaan’s real condition, adding layers of emotion and irony to their relationship.

As the narrative unfolds, the film explores themes of unconditional love, vulnerability and acceptance, with emotional sequences shaping the journey of the two protagonists. The story highlights how connection can transcend physical limitations and societal perceptions.

The film, written by Santosh Singh along with Niranjan Iyengar and Mansi Bagla, also features Rehmat Rattan, Zain Khan Durrani and Vikram Kochhar in supporting roles. Music for the film has been composed by Vishal Mishra and Joel Crasto, while cinematography is handled by Tanveer Mir.

Originally released in theatres on July 11, 2025, the film received a mixed response from audiences and critics. It is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video and ZEE5.
