Mumbai, Mar 8: Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan marked International Women's Day by sharing a powerful message of self-love, reminding women everywhere to prioritise themselves and embrace confidence.

Taking to the photo-sharing platform Instagram, Kareena posted a series of stunning solo pictures along with a caption encouraging women to celebrate themselves every day. Referring to her iconic dialogue from the film Jab We Met, she wrote: “To all the women out there DON’T EVER FORGET… to say every single day of your life… MAIN APNI FAVOURITE HOON… Happy women’s day ladies.”

The famous line, delivered by Kareena’s character Geet opposite Shahid Kapoor in the 2007 hit, has since become closely associated with the actress and her confident, unapologetic persona.

Celebrating her on the occasion, Kareena’s sister-in-law Saba Pataudi also shared a heartfelt message, calling her an inspiring artist and star. Saba posted rare photographs of the women of the Pataudi family, including her grandmother, mother Sharmila Tagore, sister Soha Ali Khan and niece Sara Ali Khan, highlighting the legacy of strong women in the family.

On the professional front, Kareena will next be seen in director Meghna Gulzar’s upcoming film Daayra. The investigative crime thriller will also feature Prithviraj Sukumaran, marking their first collaboration.

The film explores how a single disturbing act can trigger powerful and conflicting reactions across society. Kareena recently announced that filming for the project has been completed and shared her excitement about bringing the story to audiences in theatres in 2026.
