Excelso-26: National-level UG inter-collegiate fest held at Milagres College

Mangaluru, Mar 8: “Excelso-26,” a one-day national-level intercollegiate commerce and management fest, was organized at the Milagres College, Mangaluru under the joint auspices of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell and the Department of Commerce and Management on March 7.

Entrepreneur Ranganath C Kini who inaugurated the programme, said that such inter-college festivals contribute to students’ better lives and personality development. He added that these events provide an excellent platform for students to open themselves to the competitive world.

Presiding over the function, the correspondent of Milagres Educational Institutions, Fr Bonaventure Nazareth, stated that along with academics, such competitions are very important for students to showcase their talents, creativity, and abilities.

The principal of the college, Dr Alwin Serrao, conveyed his best wishes for the programme.

Around 150 students from 25-degree colleges participated in the competitions. Events such as best manager, quiz, marketing, treasure hunt, reel making were organized for undergraduate students.

During the inauguration programme, Leesha Lobo, student coordinator, was present on the dais. Royston D’Cunha, III BBA student coordinator, delivered the welcome address. Rohitha Melita, lecturer in the Department of Commerce and the programme coordinator, delivered the vote of thanks. The event was compered by Saliha of II BBA.
