St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru hosts intra-department fest 'Sangam 2026'

Mangaluru, Mar 7: St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru organised the Intra-Department Fest “Sangam 2026” on  March 6, with enthusiastic participation from students of the B A, B Com, BBA and BCA departments, providing a platform to showcase their talents, creativity, and organisational skills through a variety of competitions and activities.

The programme was inaugurated by Sr Janet Sequeira AC, vice principal, St Agnes Pre-University College, Mangaluru, who graced the occasion as the chief guest. In her address, she motivated the students to actively participate in the events and emphasised the importance of organising such fests, as they encourage creativity, teamwork, and overall personality development, highlighting that participation is more important than winning.

Kushi Shetty, vice president of BBA, presented an overview of the fest. The departments hosted events under distinct themes, namely Artspire (BA), Com Quest (BCom), Horizon (BBA) and Technovate (BCA) offering a wide range of opportunities for students to exhibit their talents and innovative ideas.

The programme began with a heartfelt prayer by the college choir team. Shamitha warmly welcomed the gathering, while Apoorva delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all the participants and organisers. Sannidhi Shetty served as the emcee for the event.

The programme was graced by faculty members and students from different departments, making Sangam 2026 a vibrant and successful celebration that encouraged creativity, collaboration, and healthy competition among students.
