Ayodhya, Mar 6: Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has purchased a 2.67-acre land parcel in Ayodhya for Rs 35 crore from realty firm House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL), the company said in a statement.
The transaction was executed on Friday by Rajesh Yadav, Managing Director of AB Corp Ltd.
The land parcel is located close to HoABL’s 75-acre luxury land development project, The Sarayu. In January 2024, Bachchan had purchased land parcels in the same project. With the latest deal, this marks his third investment in Ayodhya through HoABL and his fourth overall investment with the company.

Earlier, Bachchan had also invested in HoABL’s Sol de Alibaug project by acquiring a 10,000 sq ft plot.
HoABL chairman Abhinandan Lodha said Bachchan’s investment reflects confidence in land as a long-term asset.
“Mr Bachchan’s investment reflects a shared belief in land as an inter-generational asset that preserves value over the long term. Faith in Ayodhya is a legacy shared by generations,” Lodha said.
He added that sustained infrastructure development and public investment are transforming Ayodhya into an attractive destination for long-term land ownership and value creation.
Founded in 2020, HoABL has emerged as one of India’s largest branded land developers, focusing on transparent and technology-driven land ownership models. The company has sold over 13 million sq ft of developed land within five years and currently has around 34 million sq ft under active development.
HoABL currently operates projects in Alibaug, Anjarle, Ayodhya, Vrindavan, Dapoli, Goa, Khopoli, Nagpur and Neral, with upcoming developments planned in Amritsar, Shimla and Varanasi.
The firm plans to expand its presence to 48 cities across India, tapping the rising demand for plotted developments in infrastructure-driven destinations and tourist hubs.
The company has also recently entered vertical real estate development with three projects in Mumbai covering a total area of 3.1 million sq ft.
