IRBN head constable dies after Holi structure collapse in Bicholim

Bicholim, Mar 3: In a tragic incident, a 42-year-old man who was critically injured after a Holi structure collapsed while being erected at Menkure in Bicholim has succumbed to his injuries at the Goa Medical College.

The deceased has been identified as Pranav Pandurang Mishal, a head constable with the India Reserve Battalion (IRBN). He sustained serious injuries when the structure reportedly caved in during preparations for Holi celebrations in the village. He was immediately rushed for treatment but later passed away.

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant expressed deep sorrow over the incident. In his condolence message, Sawant said he was deeply saddened by Mishal’s demise and extended heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family during this difficult time. He also prayed that they find strength and courage to cope with the irreparable loss.

The Chief Minister appealed to citizens across Goa to celebrate Holi with caution and ensure that all necessary safety measures are strictly followed during festivities.
