Bomb threat at Passport Bhavan in Patto turns out to be hoax

Panaji, Mar 2: Police on Monday confirmed that the bomb threat reported at Passport Bhavan in Patto turned out to be a hoax after a comprehensive security check of the premises.

Following the threat call, security agencies immediately swung into action and conducted a thorough search of the building and surrounding areas. Bomb detection and disposal squads, along with local police personnel, inspected the premises to rule out any danger.

After detailed verification, officials stated that no suspicious objects or explosive materials were found inside the building. The premises were subsequently declared safe.

Authorities have launched an investigation to trace the source of the hoax call and identify those responsible.
