‘O’ Romeo’ box office Day 14: Shahid Kapoor starrer sees steady decline, collects Rs 1.25 crore

Mumbai, Feb 27: O' Romeo, starring Shahid Kapoor, has completed two weeks in theatres but continues to witness a downward trend at the box office despite initial expectations riding high on the project.

Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, the romantic revenge drama had opened on a promising note, earning over Rs 30 crore in its first weekend and wrapping up Week 1 with Rs 47.1 crore. However, collections dipped significantly in the second week.

According to industry tracking portal Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 1.25 crore on Day 14 (second Thursday), taking its total domestic collection to Rs 61.55 crore.

The worldwide gross of the film currently stands at Rs 96 crore.

• Day 9 (2nd Saturday): Rs 3.4 crore

• Day 10 (2nd Sunday): Rs 3.25 crore

• Day 11 (2nd Monday): Rs 1.65 crore

• Day 13 (2nd Wednesday): Rs 1.25 crore

• Day 14 (2nd Thursday): Rs 1.25 crore

Total: Rs 61.55 crore

On Thursday, February 26, 2026, the film recorded an overall 7.07% Hindi occupancy, indicating limited footfall during weekdays.

Apart from Shahid Kapoor in the lead, the film features Triptii Dimri as the female lead. The ensemble cast also includes Avinash Tiwary, Nana Patekar, Tamannaah Bhatia, Disha Patani and Vikrant Massey.

Vishal Bhardwaj has not only directed the film but also composed its music. Released on February 13, 2026, ‘O’ Romeo’ was expected to be a major box office comeback vehicle for Shahid Kapoor. While his performance has drawn praise, the film has struggled to sustain momentum beyond its opening weekend.
