Chennai, Feb 23: Director Sharief on Monday expressed gratitude to audiences, fans and the media as his Tamil investigative thriller Ranam Aram Thavarael completed two years since its release.
Reflecting on the journey, Sharief described the past two years as a period defined by emotion, struggle, belief and perseverance. He said the film was more than just a project, calling it a dream realised through conviction and the collective dedication of the entire team.
The filmmaker thanked the cast, technicians and crew members who stood by him throughout the production, acknowledging their commitment to bringing the story to life. He also extended appreciation to the press and media for their continued encouragement and for helping the film reach wider audiences.

Sharief made special mention of viewers who continue to watch the film on OTT platforms and share their feedback through messages and calls, saying their support has given him renewed confidence and motivation. He noted that the film’s two-year milestone holds meaning because of the audience’s love and faith.
Terming the anniversary not as a conclusion but as the beginning of a new chapter, Sharief hinted that an announcement regarding his next project will be made soon.
The film starred Vaibhav, Nandita Swetha and Tanya Hope in lead roles. Produced by Madhu Nagarajan, the movie featured music composed by Arrol Corelli.
