Warangal, Feb 21: Sleuths of the Warangal unit of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) caught a Steno Grade-I and two subordinates red-handed while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000 at the District Principal and Sessions Court in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district on Thursday.
According to ACB officials, the main accused accepted the bribe through two subordinates, identified as Kommu Sunitha and Punnam Rajitha, from a complainant for handing over a certified copy of a judgment. Acting on a complaint, ACB officials laid a trap and apprehended the accused while accepting the tainted amount, which was later recovered.

In a separate case, ACB officials on Friday arrested a private document writer, Md Rashee, at the sub-registrar office in Manthani for allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 16,000 from a farmer.
The accused reportedly sought the money to process and facilitate the registration of property documents belonging to a farmer from Puttapaka village. Further investigation is underway in both cases.
