Kundapur: Moodlakatte Institute of Technology launches ‘Info Spark’ platform for MCA students

Kundapur, Feb 16: The department of Master of Computer Applications (MCA) at Moodlakatte Institute of Technology inaugurated a new platform titled ‘Info Spark’ with the objective of fostering creativity and innovative thinking among students.

Welcoming the gathering, head of the department Dr T Nandini stated that the ‘Info Spark’ platform will function as a dynamic forum to enhance students’ technical skills, leadership qualities, and sense of social responsibility.

The programme was inaugurated by principal Dr Ramakrishna Hegde, who encouraged students to actively participate in the initiative and make the best use of the opportunities provided under the platform.

As part of the initiative, three student associations have been launched to effectively organize various activities. These include ‘Binary Crafters’, which will focus on IT-related activities such as coding, debugging, and hackathons; ‘Community Catalysts’, aimed at conducting community-oriented programmes including health and social awareness campaigns; and ‘Biz Bytes’, which will concentrate on entrepreneurship and management skill-based activities.

The programme was compered by students Supriya and Kishan, and concluded with a vote of thanks.

Faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students of the department were present on the occasion.
