Man held for posting objectionable video on PM Modi

Muzaffarnagar, Feb 15: A 22-year-old man was arrested for allegedly posting a video containing objectionable remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, police said on Sunday.

Charthawal police station SHO Satyanarayan Dahiya identified the accused as Jitendra Kumar Kashyap. According to the officer, a case has been registered against Kashyap under Sections 352 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace) and 353 (statements conducing to public mischief) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

Police said the arrest was made on Saturday evening after the video targeting the prime minister went viral on social media platforms, triggering public outrage.

Further investigation is underway.
