Mangaluru: St Aloysius College Higher Primary School conducts fireless flavours magic

Mangaluru, Feb 15: Fireless Flavours Magic, a unique cooking without fire competition, was successfully conducted at St Aloysius College Higher Primary School for students of classes 4 to 7. The event, organised as a parent-child team competition, was initiated by the PTA and conducted under their guidance, marking a first-of-its-kind initiative in the school.

The competition received an overwhelming response with over 116 participants, who showcased exceptional creativity, teamwork and presentation skills through innovative dishes prepared without the use of fire.

The event was graced by the correspondent, Fr Johnson Pinto SJ, the chief guest Sathya Gollerkeri and the headmistress Jositta Noronha, whose presence added great encouragement to the participants.

The competition was judged by Delma D’Cunha, Jovita Carol, Sujatha Rajesh and Margaret Oliver, who evaluated the teams based on taste, presentation, creativity, hygiene and coordination.

1st place: Sandra Kiyara Lobo
2nd place: Jeshta Bangera
3rd place: Mohammed Rihan Abdul Azeez

Consolation prizes: Alin Rahman and Riaan Rathan Athavar

1st place: Mohammed Mursi
2nd place: Lakshmi Narayan
3rd place: Mohammed Saad Ameer

Consolation prizes: Kriyansh and Ninisha Prisha Montheiro

Special appreciation was extended to the PTA vice president, Mohammed Iqbal and his team for their coordination and support. Gratitude was also expressed to Ananth for capturing the memorable moments and to all the teaching and supporting staff for ensuring the smooth conduct of the event.

Fireless Flavours Magic turned out to be a vibrant, educational and memorable event that strengthened parent-child bonding while nurturing creativity and confidence among students.
