Hyderabad, Feb 13: Cinematographer Sujith Sarang has revealed that director Pavan Sadineni’s upcoming film Aakasamlo Oka Tara is progressing at full speed and has entered its final phase of production.

Taking to Instagram, Sarang shared behind-the-scenes pictures from the shoot, noting that work on the film is moving ahead in “full throttle” mode as the team prepares to wrap up.

The film stars Dulquer Salmaan and newcomer Satvika Veeravalli in lead roles. The makers recently unveiled Satvika as the female lead through a specially crafted introduction video. The clip portrays her as a determined young woman from a rural background who dares to dream beyond societal limitations.

The video opens with a child gazing at the sky and asking how to reach space, setting the tone for a story centered on aspiration and resilience. It hints at the challenges faced by her character, who is discouraged from pursuing her ambition of becoming an astronaut. The narrative appears to revolve around her journey from a remote village to achieving her dream of travelling to space, establishing her as the film’s central protagonist.

Produced by Sandeep Gunnam and Ramya Gunnam under the Light Box Media banner, the project is being presented by prominent production houses Geetha Arts and Swapna Cinema. Geetha Arts shared the heroine’s introduction on social media, describing her as “the dreamer who gives wings” to the story.

The film brings together a strong technical crew. Music is composed by two-time National Award winner G V Prakash Kumar, while editing is handled by National Award-winning editor K L Praveen.

The introduction video also confirmed that Aakasamlo Oka Tara is slated for a theatrical release in the summer season this year.
