Mumbai, Feb 9: Kannada cinema star Rishab Shetty marked nine years of marriage with his wife, Pragathi Shetty, celebrating the occasion with a deeply personal and affectionate note that reflected on their shared journey of love, resilience, and companionship.
Commemorating the milestone, the Kirik Party filmmaker took to social media to share a message filled with warmth and gratitude, describing his marriage as a blend of joy, struggles, laughter, and countless cherished moments. Rishab credited Pragathi’s love for bringing calm, clarity, and balance into his life, saying it has played a defining role in shaping who he is today.

“It has been nine years since we tied the knot and nurtured our love into a beautiful marriage. Every moment together feels like a priceless collection of memories—laughter, pain, smiles, lovely moments, all in perfect harmony. Above all, there is a deep, enduring love that has brought light, peace, and confidence into my life,” he wrote.
Addressing his wife as his constant companion, supporter, and “goddess of fortune,” Rishab added, “You’ve made life as vast as the ocean. Happy wedding anniversary.”
The actor-director reportedly first crossed paths with Pragathi at a film-related event, after which their bond gradually deepened. Despite initial reservations from Pragathi’s family due to Rishab’s then-uncertain career in films, the couple went on to marry in 2017.
Today, they are parents to two children — son Ranvit and daughter Radhya — and often share glimpses of their family life with fans. Pragathi, who earlier worked as a software engineer, now collaborates professionally with Rishab as a costume designer for his films.
Known for offering fans a window into both his personal and professional worlds, Rishab frequently posts moments from family trips and behind-the-scenes memories. In December last year, he shared throwback pictures from a Goa vacation, capturing candid moments of the couple spending quality time with their children. The post was simply captioned, “Throwback to the Goa trip.”
As Rishab continues to scale new heights in cinema, his anniversary message stood out as a quiet celebration of the partnership that has remained at the heart of his journey.
