New Delhi, Feb 9: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Sunday presented a detailed report card of the Vidhan Sabha, highlighting development works worth Rs 250 crore and major projects amounting to Rs 10,000 crore as the BJP-led government completed one year in office.
Inaugurating redevelopment works at a district park, the Chief Minister said renovation of fountains has begun not only at the park but across the Vidhan Sabha constituency and all Delhi Development Authority (DDA) parks. She said the redevelopment included a new gate, repaired footpaths, upgraded fountain premises, renovated toilets and refurbished boundary walls.

Addressing the public, Gupta said the report card outlines works completed and initiated over the past year, along with development plans that have already been rolled out. She noted that the redevelopment of the district park had been under consideration for several years and expressed satisfaction at seeing the project finally take shape.
Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister said Delhi would soon become the state with the highest number of electric buses. Speaking to reporters ahead of the launch of 500 electric buses in the national capital, Gupta thanked the people of Delhi for placing their trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP.
She said the government was working round the year for citizens and reiterated that the expansion of electric mobility would place Delhi at the forefront of sustainable public transport. BJP National President Nitin Nabin is scheduled to launch 500 EV buses along with the Delhi–Panipat inter-state bus service at Ramlila Maidan in the presence of the Chief Minister.
