Udaipur, Feb 2: Speculation about actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda tying the knot on February 2 in Udaipur flooded the internet over the past few days. However, Rashmika has now firmly dismissed the claims, putting an end to the viral rumours.
According to reports cited by Bollywood Hungama, Rashmika herself clarified that there is no wedding scheduled on February 2 and directly denied the speculation surrounding her marriage to Vijay Deverakonda.

The rumours reportedly began after an influencer in Udaipur shared a video claiming that a grand wedding setup was underway at the City Palace. Assuming it to be the actors’ wedding, the influencer announced in the viral clip that Rashmika and Vijay were set to get married on February 2, while showcasing the decorations at the venue.
Following Rashmika’s clarification, fresh reports by Telugu news portal 123 Telugu have reignited curiosity, claiming that the couple may instead get married on February 26. As per these reports, the wedding could take place at a renowned palace in Udaipur and is expected to be a destination ceremony attended only by close family members, select relatives and a few friends from the film industry. The report also suggests that the couple is keen on keeping the ceremony private, with no media presence at the venue.
While the wedding itself is said to be intimate, reports indicate that a grand reception may be organised later in Hyderabad, which is likely to see the presence of several film industry celebrities.
Earlier, in December 2025, Rashmika had addressed the constant marriage speculation during an interaction with The Hollywood Reporter. She had said, “I wouldn’t like to confirm or deny the marriage. When it is to be spoken about, we shall.”
In the same conversation, Rashmika also spoke about maintaining a balance between work and personal life, revealing that she prefers not to discuss work at home most of the time. “I don’t discuss work at home, at least 80 percent of the time. If something is bothering me about the business, of course, I go and ask for advice or help, but at home, I just want to cut off,” she said, adding that she believes in giving her best at work while keeping home life separate.
