Major fire breaks out at Bhoma house; property worth Rs 8 lac damaged

Mapusa, Jan 28: A major fire broke out at a residential house in Nagzarwada, Bhoma, causing property damage estimated at around Rs 8 lac, triggering panic in the area.

Firefighters rushed to the spot immediately after receiving the alert and managed to bring the blaze under control, preventing it from spreading to nearby houses.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, and further investigation is underway, officials said.
