‘Bhargavi LLB’ actress Radha Bhagavathi breaks down on stage at Anubandha Awards 2025

Bengaluru, Jan 26: Actress Radha Bhagavathi, who is currently winning hearts as Bhargavi in the Colors Kannada serial Bhargavi LLB, turned emotional and broke down in tears while accepting an award at the Anubandha Awards 2025.

Radha Bhagavathi, who earlier gained popularity for her portrayal of Malli in the Zee Kannada serial Amruthadhare, became visibly emotional on stage as she recalled the hardships she faced in her life. While addressing the audience, she sang the soulful song Sojugada Sooju Mallige and shared her journey with tearful honesty.

“I had dreamt of becoming a singer, but destiny brought me into the film and television industry. The goddess of art has guided me till here. Today, I am standing in front of all of you and receiving this award,” she said, struggling to hold back tears. She further revealed the difficulties her family went through, adding, “There was a time when I could not bear to see the problems at home, and at one point, I even went out to sell flowers.”

Radha Bhagavathi, who rose to fame through the character of Malli, had unexpectedly exited Amruthadhare, a move that surprised many viewers. Soon after, she made a strong comeback as a lead actress with Bhargavi LLB, marking a new chapter in her career.

The emotional moment at the Anubandha Awards deeply moved the audience, with many praising the actress for her resilience and inspiring journey from struggle to success.
