‘The 50’: Farah Khan’s reality show unveils first list of contestants

Mumbai, Jan 24: Indian television is gearing up for a high-voltage reality show with The 50, to be hosted by filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan. The show will feature 50 celebrity contestants living and competing under one roof, facing tasks designed to test their physical strength, mental sharpness and social skills.

While the complete list of participants is yet to be officially announced, several celebrities from television, digital platforms and social media have confirmed their participation.

Popular television actor Karan Patel shared his entry through a social media post, hinting at excitement and curiosity ahead of the challenge. Known for his strong screen presence, Patel is also set to explore vertical storytelling with a gritty new role outside reality television.

Reality show favourite Divya Agarwal also confirmed her participation with a humorous video post. A former winner of Bigg Boss OTT, Agarwal said she is looking forward to yet another intense reality show experience.

Actor Ridhi Dogra described her entry into The 50 as stepping into the “lion’s den”, calling it a challenge that pushes her beyond her comfort zone. Dogra is known for her performances in shows like Asur and The Married Woman, as well as films such as Jawan and Tiger 3.

Digital star Faisal Sheikh, popularly known as Mr Faisu, is also among the confirmed contestants. He announced his participation by sharing a video showcasing his excitement for what he called a new adventure.

Bhojpuri actress Monalisa will enter the show along with her husband Vikrant Singh Rajpoot. The couple announced their participation on their wedding anniversary, marking their first reality show appearance together.

Reality television star Shiv Thakare, winner of Bigg Boss Marathi and a finalist in Bigg Boss 16, will also be seen on the show. Ahead of his entry, Thakare visited the Siddhivinayak temple and shared his journey with fans online.

YouTuber Dushyant Kukreja and UAE-based influencer Ahmad Al Marzooqi have also confirmed their participation, adding a digital and international flavour to the lineup.

Veteran television actor Urvashi Dholakia has joined the show, saying the format resonated with her life experience and personal journey. Model Rudra Rana has also confirmed his entry, sharing his excitement on social media.

The popular television couple Prince Narula and Yuvika Chaudhary will enter The 50 together. Known for his competitive streak and strong reality show track record, Prince is expected to bring intensity and strategy, while Yuvika’s calm and composed presence is likely to add balance to the game.

The 50 is set to premiere on February 1, 2026, with more contestant announcements expected in the coming days.
