Amaravati, Jan 19: Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced plans to position the state as a global hub for AI-powered creative enterprises, highlighting vast opportunities in technology, digital media, and content-driven industries.
On the first day of his World Economic Forum visit in Davos, Naidu met with top industry leaders in Zurich to showcase Andhra Pradesh’s potential in areas such as AI Creative Tech, Generative AI, Deep Tech, and the Digital Content Economy. The Chief Minister emphasized the government’s focus on promoting investments in gaming, animation, virtual production, film technology, and digital media, with the aim of generating large-scale employment for the state’s youth.

During the meeting, Ridhima Lulla and Swaneet Singh, co-presidents of Eros Innovation, outlined the company’s initiatives, including Eros Gen AI, an AI-enabled Film City, virtual production studios, and the Eros Universe Super App. They also presented ‘Discover Andhra Pradesh 360,’ a virtual reality-based tourism promotion program. Eros Innovations Chairman Kishore Lulla praised Naidu as a “Davos Man,” commending his global vision and leadership.
Earlier, CM Naidu met Indian Ambassador to Switzerland Mridul Kumar to discuss Swiss investments in Andhra Pradesh, particularly in pharma, medical equipment, heavy machinery, electronics, rail components, and textiles. Naidu highlighted the state’s 25 new industrial policies, prioritization of AI and quantum technologies, and emphasis on skill development to meet global workforce demands.
Ministers Nara Lokesh and TG Venkatesh accompanied the chief minister during his meetings, reinforcing Andhra Pradesh’s push for technology-led industrial growth and international collaboration.
