Mumbai, Jan 10: Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, who introduced one of Hindi cinema’s earliest superheroes with Krrish in 2006, has sparked fresh excitement among fans by hinting at the long-awaited fourth instalment of the franchise.

In a recent video shared on his fitness brand HRX’s social media handle, Hrithik is seen undergoing an intense workout session, fuelling speculation that he is gearing up to reprise his superhero role. The Krrish franchise, along with its prequel Koi… Mil Gaya, is considered Bollywood’s first interconnected cinematic universe.

The video opens with Hrithik posing shirtless before a mirror, before launching into a gruelling training routine involving heavy weights and large sets. His physical strain is evident throughout the workout. Joining him during the session is his girlfriend, actor-singer Saba Azad, with the duo exchanging a high-five after completing a set.

Towards the end of the clip, Hrithik is seen cycling on a stationary bike when he draws the camera’s attention to something that has “popped up on his screen”. The frame briefly reveals a still of Hrithik in his iconic Krrish avatar, after which the video abruptly cuts to black.

The teaser-like ending has reignited buzz around Krrish 4, a project that has been in the pipeline for over a decade, leaving fans hopeful that the superhero is finally set to return to the big screen.
