Mangaluru, Jan 8: Tulu film ‘Non Veg’, directed by K Sooraj Shetty and produced by Prakash Pandeshwar under the Jayakiran Films banner, is set to be released across coastal districts on February 6.
Made entirely with coastal talent, Non Veg features a distinct and unconventional storyline. One of the core messages of the film highlights how things often considered impure or unpleasant are, in fact, natural and unavoidable. This underlying theme forms an important part of the film’s narrative.




Many artistes who acted in ‘Su From So’ are also part of Non Veg. The cast includes Prakash Tuminadu, Pushparaj Bolluru of Bandaro Bandru Bava Bandru fame, Deepak Rai Panaje, Mime Ramdas, Vismaya Vinayak and Roopa Varkady. Television actress Sanjana Burli, known for the serial Puttakkana Makkalu, plays the female lead and is said to have delivered an impressive performance. Kuseldarase Naveen D Padil appears in a key role.
Atharva Prakash, who has acted in several Tulu and Kannada films and is regarded as a promising young hero, also plays an important role in Non Veg. The film is expected to turn out to be a major hit. According to the film team, the movie offers a fine blend of humour, entertainment and a strong message, with no compromise on any aspect.
The subject of Non Veg is expected to appeal to a wide audience. The story revolves around an innocent youth who is chasing love, making it particularly attractive to the younger generation. At the same time, it is described as a film that parents can watch along with their children, with a message aimed at preventing youngsters from going astray.
