Kerala, Jan 4: Nivin Pauly’s Christmas release, Sarvam Maya, has emerged as a massive blockbuster, marking a major milestone for the Malayalam film industry. The horror-comedy, written and directed by Akhil Sathyan, opened to positive reviews and has maintained a strong box office performance since its release.
The film has now crossed the Rs 100 crore mark globally in just 10 days, making it Nivin Pauly’s first movie to achieve this feat. Sharing the update on X, Nivin wrote, “Thank you for going delulu over Sarvam Maya! 101 CR Global Theatrical Collection in just 10 DAYS. Sarvam Maya breaking box office records in theatres near you.”
Sarvam Maya follows the story of a young Hindu priest, played by Nivin, whose peaceful life is disrupted when he encounters a spirit. What begins as a supernatural challenge evolves into a profound journey that tests his faith and forces him to question everything he knows. Produced by Firefly Films, the movie also features Janardhanan, Arun Ajikumar, and Raghunath Paleri in pivotal roles.
