New Delhi, Jan 4: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a chargesheet against two key shooters in connection with the 2024 firing incident at a hotel in Neemrana, which has been linked to Khalistani terrorist Arsh Dala, officials said on Sunday.

The accused, identified as Puneet and Narinder Lalli, were named in the chargesheet submitted before a Jaipur court in Rajasthan on Saturday. They have been booked under various provisions of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita, the Arms Act and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).

According to the NIA, the Punjab-based accused had carried out the actual firing at the Highway King Hotel in Neemrana, Haryana, and were also involved in threatening the hotel owners and demanding extortion. With the latest chargesheet, a total of nine accused have so far been chargesheeted in the case.

The agency stated that the attack, which took place in September 2024, was executed by a terrorist-gangster syndicate involving the Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF), led by designated terrorist Arshdeep Singh alias Arsh Dala, in collusion with the Bambiah gang.

Investigations revealed that the attack was planned by gang members Dinesh Gandhi and Saurabh Kataria, while Puneet and Narinder executed the firing under the protection of Arsh Dala and Gandhi.

The NIA further alleged that the two shooters used prohibited weapons during the attack and issued threats on behalf of the syndicate. The probe also found that they had been receiving funds, shelter and weapons on a sustained basis from the terror-gang network to further the objectives of the Khalistan Tiger Force.
