New Delhi, Jan 3: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has invited citizens to download the ECINet App and submit suggestions to improve the platform ahead of its formal launch later this month.

Deputy director P. Pawan issued a note urging users to provide feedback through the app’s “Submit a Suggestion” tab, with submissions open until January 10.

The ECINet App, developed under the leadership of chief election commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, along with election commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi, was piloted successfully during the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 and subsequent bye-elections.

According to the ECI, the app offers enhanced voter services, faster publication of polling percentage trends, and the release of Index Cards within 72 hours of poll closure—a process that previously took weeks or months. The platform is being refined continuously based on feedback from election officials, observers, and field staff.

“User suggestions will be carefully examined, and the app will be updated to ensure it is more user-friendly before the official launch,” the ECI statement noted.

ECINet is a single, unified platform that integrates 40 separate election-related applications and websites—including the Voter Helpline App (VHA), CVIGIL, Saksham, Polling Trends, and Know Your Candidate (KYC)—into one interface, making voter services more accessible.

The app is available for download on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, allowing citizens nationwide to engage with and contribute to the development of India’s next-generation election platform.
