Mumbai, Dec 28: Actress Krystle D’Souza has described her association with the film Dhurandhar as a turning point in her career, revealing that what started as a modest opportunity ultimately became a deeply meaningful milestone for her.
In an exclusive interaction with reporters, Krystle spoke about her experience of being part of the film, highlighting how the project allowed her to collaborate with an ensemble cast featuring some of the most acclaimed names in the industry. She appeared in the song “Shararat”, sung by Jasmine Sandlas and Madhubanti Bagchi. The track, which also features Ayesha Khan, has gained widespread popularity and emerged as a viral hit on social media.

Sharing her excitement, Krystle said being associated with a Ranveer Singh-led film felt surreal. She noted that the chance to share screen space with actors such as Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt and R. Madhavan was an achievement she deeply cherished. She admitted that when she agreed to do the song, she had no clarity on the extent of her screen presence but was drawn to the project because of its powerful cast.
“For me, this truly feels like a dream come true,” Krystle said. “Just being on screen with performers like Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt and R. Madhavan is a big moment in my career. I didn’t know how much screen time I would get, but I still agreed because of the incredible ensemble the film had.”
She added that she was eager to be associated with the film in any capacity, even if the role was brief. “I’m genuinely grateful that what seemed like a small opportunity turned into something so impactful for me,” she said.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar features a star-studded cast including Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Manav Gohil, Danish Pandor, Saumya Tandon, Gaurav Gera and Naveen Kaushik. The action thriller hit theatres on December 5.
