Krishna to Inaugurate ITO Passport Office Thursday


New Delhi, Feb 22 (IANS): The wait is over. The new 20,000 sq ft passport office at Herald House, near ITO, will be formally opened by External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna Thursday.

The new Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) will have 40 counters and passports will be dispatched within seven working days from filing of applications, an official said. This will be the 50th PSK to be opened in India.

The Herald House office will be the third and the largest PSK which will supplement the front-end work of Regional Passport Office.
