Mumbai, Dec 14: Actor Arjun Rampal has officially confirmed his engagement to longtime partner and fashion designer Gabriella Demetriades, marking a new milestone in their relationship. The revelation comes even as Rampal enjoys the success of his latest theatrical release Dhurandhar, which hit screens on December 5 and is reportedly on track to cross the Rs 300-crore mark at the box office.

The actor made the announcement during an appearance on actor Rhea Chakraborty’s podcast Chapter 2. In a video clip shared by Rhea on Saturday, Rampal and Gabriella were seen speaking candidly about love, marriage and family. When Gabriella remarked, “We’re not married now, but who knows?”, Rampal surprised many by interjecting, “We are engaged! We just broke it on your show.”

During the conversation, Gabriella reflected on how becoming a parent changed her understanding of unconditional love, while Rampal opened up about personal loss, recalling the death of his mother Gwen Rampal in 2018. He described losing a parent as “like losing a limb,” and spoke about the emotional impact it had on him.

Adding a lighter note to the discussion, Gabriella joked about not wanting their relationship to be based on looks alone, prompting Rampal to quip that he was initially drawn to her because she was “hot,” before realising there was much more to her.

Rampal and Gabriella have been together since 2019 and are parents to two sons, Arik and Ariv. The actor was previously married to model Mehr Jesia, with whom he shares two daughters, Myra and Mahikaa. The former couple continue to co-parent their children amicably.
