Puttur: Bike rider seriously injured in head-on collision with car

Puttur, Dec 12: A serious accident occurred on the night of Thursday December 11 in Nekkilady, when a bike collided head-on with a car, leaving the rider critically injured.

The injured rider, Badruddin, a resident of Matha, was reportedly working at a hotel in Kootale. According to reports, Badruddin was travelling on the Chatushpada National Highway from Uppinangady towards Nekkilady on the wrong side of the road when the car, coming from Uppinangady, struck him.

Badruddin was immediately rushed to Puttur hospital for treatment. Due to the seriousness of his injuries, he was later referred to Mangaluru for advanced medical care.
