Special Sabarimala trains from Mangaluru Jn to Thiruvananthapuram North from Dec 7

Mangaluru, Dec 5: In view of the heavy rush of Sabarimala pilgrims, special trains will operate between Mangaluru Junction and Thiruvananthapuram North railway stations.

The Mangaluru Junction–Thiruvananthapuram North Weekly Express Special (Train No. 06041) will run every Sunday from December 7 to January 18, departing Mangaluru Junction at 6 pm and arriving at Thiruvananthapuram North at 6.30 am the following day.

Similarly, the Thiruvananthapuram North–Mangaluru Junction Weekly Express Special (Train No. 06042) will run every Monday from December 8 to January 19, departing Thiruvananthapuram North at 8.30 am and reaching Mangaluru Central at 8.30 pm on the same day.

The Mandala–Makaravilakku season has completed 18 days, and the total number of pilgrims reaching Sabarimala has crossed 15 lac.
