Mangaluru, Dec 4: Reshel Bretny Fernandes, a prolific author, powerful orator and Kittur Rani Chennamma awardee has gained significant national and international recognition for her contributions to literature and public thought.
With five published books—among them the much-admired Bharat at 2047: Role of Youth and Swaraj: A Good Governance Wheel of Democracy—she has emerged as one of the country’s most promising young intellectual voices. Her works also commemorate the birth anniversary of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Reshel has been recognised with several national and international honours, and her accomplishments have been featured in leading magazines in India and abroad. Notably, Bharat at 2047: Role of Youth has been appreciated by the Prime Minister of India’s Office, marking a significant achievement in her literary career.
Recently, the international publishing platform Literature Today lauded Reshel’s work, with its editorial team “continuously appreciating” her writing and featuring her on pages 22 and 23, describing her as “the young voice of India”.
Her book Swarajya has also received global recognition, having been featured by the World Educational Research Forum, which acclaimed Reshel’s efforts in conveying the message of good governance and emphasising India’s capacity to lead with democratic values. The book includes a forward note by Anil K Anthony, National Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party, who praised Reshel and offered his insights on the theme.
In addition to her literary achievements, Reshel Bretny Fernandes is also a member of Disha Bharat, Samartha Bharat, and the Thinkers’ Forum, contributing to national conversations on culture, governance and youth development.
