Hyderabad, Dec 3: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Wednesday invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend the upcoming Telangana Rising–2047 Global Summit, being organised to mark two years of Congress rule in the state.
Revanth Reddy, accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, met the Prime Minister in Parliament and extended formal invitations. He also invited Lok Sabha Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi, several Union Ministers and senior Congress leaders for the event.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister submitted a detailed charter of demands and briefed the Prime Minister that Telangana was steadily progressing towards achieving a USD 3 trillion economy in line with the Centre’s Viksit Bharat–2047 vision. As part of this roadmap, the Telangana Rising–2047 Vision Document will be released at the Global Summit on December 9.
Revanth Reddy said the Vision Document was prepared with inputs from NITI Aayog and domain experts, outlining the state’s growth plans and long-term targets. He sought the Centre’s support for various development proposals embedded in the document.
The Chief Minister urged the Prime Minister to approve the second phase of the 162.5-km Hyderabad Metro Rail project, costing Rs 43,848 crore. He also requested financial clearance for the northern portion of the Regional Ring Road (RRR) and mandatory permissions for the southern stretch.
Informing the Prime Minister of plans to develop a regional ring rail around the RRR, he sought early approval for the project. Revanth Reddy also appealed for Central support to build a 12-lane greenfield expressway from Hyderabad to Amaravati, and a high-speed corridor connecting Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
Additionally, he requested approval for the construction of a four-lane elevated corridor from Mannanur to Srisailam through the Tiger Reserve, enabling seamless travel to the temple town in Andhra Pradesh.
