Kadaba, Nov 29: A case has been registered at the Subrahmanya police station after a woman filed a complaint alleging that her minor son, a student at a local school, was assaulted by a man named Chetan.
According to the complaint, a video was circulated on a mobile phone showing the accused Chetan scolding the boy and hitting him with a stick on November 24. After the video came to the mother’s notice, she lodged a complaint against Chetan.
Based on her complaint, Subrahmanya police have registered a case under Crime No. 60/2025, Section 118(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS)–2023, and an investigation is underway.
