Kundapur: Five arrested as police raid cockfight in Gangolli

Kundapur, Nov 25: Gangolli police raided a cockfight being held at Aluru Mavinaguli on November 23 and arrested five persons.

The arrested are Divakar (56), Ganesh (40), Ganesh (29), Prashanth (37) and H Babu (55). Jayasheel Shetty and others fled the spot during the police raid.

Police seized seven roosters, five cockfight knives, Rs 2,400 in cash and seven motorcycles. A case has been registered at the Gangolli police station.
