Udupi, Nov 24: St Cecily's English Medium Higher Primary School (CBSE) Udupi harboured a festive aura on November 22 celebrating Establishment Day and feast of St Cecilia.

The celebrations began with a devotional spirit created by the solemn prayer led by the Carmel Blossoms. They also enacted an informative skit on life of Mother Veronica.

Students of grades 3A and B joined in hosting the programme. They made the celebration enjoyable with their mesmerising dances, musical skit and innocent narratives highlighting the glorious life of the school's patron saint- St Cecilia.

The chief guest- Sr Sujothi AC, faculty of St Cecily's Kannada Hr Pry School was accorded a gracious welcome through a welcome dance by the swan-like dancers of grade 3 and words of welcome by Aaron, a Carmel Blossoms member.

In her message to the audience Sr Sujothi lauded the performances and briefed about the prominence of Mother Veronica and St Cecilia in the lives of all Cecilians.

The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Abhinav, grade 3 followed by the National Anthem.

From Carmel's Heart to Cecilia's Melody - Cecilians strive to live by the values of Venerable Mother Veronica and the saint of music, St Cecilia.
