‘Projapati 2’ title track brings festive energy as Jeet Gannguli and Dev reunite

Mumbai, Nov 24: The much-awaited title track of the Bengali film Projapati 2 was released on Monday, with Jeet Gannguli taking charge of both composition and vocals. The song marks yet another successful collaboration between Gannguli and actor Dev, a duo known for delivering memorable musical hits. Featuring Dev, Mithun Chakraborty, Jyotirmoyee and Anumegha, the music video channels a vibrant festive spirit that mirrors the emotional heartbeat of the film while building anticipation ahead of its release.

Gannguli described the track as one infused with “joy and nostalgia”, noting the deep creative comfort he shares with Dev. The actor echoed the sentiment, calling the song an instant mood-lifter and praising the effortless artistic rhythm between them. Times Music CEO Mandar Thakur added that the track captures the essence of Projapati 2 and is poised to resonate strongly with listeners.

The title track is now available on all major streaming platforms as well as the Times Music Bangla YouTube channel.

Meanwhile, Mithun Chakraborty, who appears in the film, was recently seen in The Bengal Files, a historical drama based on the 1946 Direct Action Day and its aftermath of communal violence. The veteran actor also has upcoming projects including Fauji and Jailer 2.
