Udupi, Nov 24: Students Karthik Nayak, Kandukuru Harshitha, Adish Poojary, Abhay G Poojary and Adithya V Kotian of third year Computer Science and Engineering of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology & Management, Bantakal have participated and secured second place in Green Mind Hackathon 2025 held at Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology, Bengaluru on November 13 and 15 .
They presented Areca Harvester, an AI-powered sustainable agri-tech solution designed to detect ripe arecanuts. Participating in the Green Mind Hackathon gave them invaluable exposure to real-world problem-solving, expert technical feedback, and a highly competitive innovation ecosystem. It was an inspiring experience and a proud milestone for the students
