Dr Greeshma Vivek Alva is a distinguished Naturopathic Physician who completed her MD in Clinical Naturopathy from Alva’s College of Naturopathy and Yoga. With deep dedication to holistic and preventive healthcare, she strives to bring natural medicine and wellness into mainstream living.
A multifaceted and dynamic personality, Dr Greeshma is a renowned public speaker admired for her eloquence, stage presence, and ability to inspire audiences. She rose to noteworthy recognition as an outstanding compère during Alva’s Virasat, where she captured the stage with confidence in front of over 40,000 people.
She is a sound meditation practitioner, blending vibrational healing and mindfulness into her therapeutic approach. In addition to her healthcare services, she manages the Ayurvedic Product Manufacturing Unit at Alva’s in Moodbidri, ensuring authenticity, precision, and high-quality production rooted in traditional wisdom.
Dr Greeshma is the convener of Sakshama – Alva’s Women’s Association, a pioneering platform dedicated exclusively to empowering women through impactful, informative, and inspirational programs.
An advocate of integrative health, she is also a trained alternative medicine practitioner, proficient in Acupuncture, Reiki, Cupping, and several holistic therapies that support physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
She is the founder of the naturopathy-based wellness spa “Prana” at Alva’s Anandamaya Arogyadhama , a centre that focuses on detoxification, rejuvenation, and preventive healthcare using evidence-based natural therapies.
Adding to her creative and cultural dimensions, Dr Greeshma is a beautiful and graceful Bharatanatyam dancer, admired for her expressive artistry and devotion to classical performance.
Further extending her passion for women’s empowerment, she founded the Alva’s Academy of Makeup Artistry, a one-of-its-kind initiative that trains and uplifts young women by transforming their interest in beauty and makeup into a professional career path, helping them gain financial independence and confidence.
On the personal front, she is married to Vivek Alva, managing trustee of Alva’s Education Foundation, and is the daughter-in-law of Dr Mohan Alva, chairman of Alva’s Education Foundation. She is a proud mother of two sons — Ved (4 years) and Vayu (1.6 years).
