Tamannaah Bhatia dreams of portraying Sridevi on screen

Mumbai, Nov 23: Actress Tamannaah Bhatia has revealed her heartfelt wish to play the legendary Sridevi in a biopic, calling the late star “super iconic” and someone she has always admired. Speaking to IANS, Tamannaah said portraying Sridevi would be a tribute to the actress who inspired her journey in cinema.

Having built a strong presence in Bollywood after years of success in South Indian films, Tamannaah shared that she has dreamt of this role since childhood. Sridevi’s five-decade-long career spanned Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada cinema, with unforgettable performances in hits like Mr. India, ChaalBaaz, and Sadma.

Though a Sridevi biopic has not yet been officially announced, Tamannaah’s wish keeps hopes alive. The actress is currently busy with projects including the Telugu supernatural thriller Odela 2 and the action film Ranger alongside Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt.
