Karkala: Valedictory of inter-PU college fest ‘Inspire X’ held at MPM GFGC

Karkala, Nov 22: The valedictory ceremony of the inter-college PUC fest ‘Inspire X’ was held on Thursday at the Manjunatha Pai Memorial Government First Grade College.

Addressing the gathering as chief guest, entrepreneur Sunil Mendis urged students to face challenges with confidence. “Failure is never final, and victory is never permanent. A winner may fear losing, but a loser always carries the determination to win,” he remarked, encouraging students to participate actively in all activities without fear.

Another chief guest, Rajaram Nayak, also spoke on the occasion and extended his best wishes to the students.

The event was presided over by principal Dr Suresh Rai K, who congratulated the participants and appreciated their enthusiastic involvement throughout the fest.

In the overall championship of Inspire X, Jain PU College, Moodbidri, secured the champion’s trophy, while Government PU College, Sanoor, was adjudged runner-up.

Cultural Association coordinator Soumya H K, co-organizer Dr K C Subrahmanya, IQAC coordinator Vinay M S, Student Welfare officer Dr Chandravathi, and committee secretaries Karthik Nayak, Priya Risha, Sooraj, and Vikhyath were present on the occasion.

The programme was compered by student Sharanya Nayak, and Manoj Louis Ambrose, coordinator of Inspire X, proposed the vote of thanks.
