Mumbai, Nov 22: Netflix’s Dining with the Kapoors saw iconic Kapoor family members—Randhir Kapoor, Rima Jain, Neetu Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, and Ranbir Kapoor—coming together to bond over food, memories, and nostalgia.

While enjoying a lavish spread, the family reminisced about shared moments and their enduring connection with legendary filmmaker Raj Kapoor. Ranbir Kapoor revealed a touching story about his name, explaining it as a tribute to his grandfather.

“My name is actually my grandfather’s name. His real name was Ranbir Raj Kapoor. When I was born, my grand-uncle Shammi Kapoor suggested we give the name to me since it hadn’t been used. That’s how I got the name Ranbir,” Ranbir shared.

The special, created by Armaan Jain and directed by Smriti Mundhra of Indian Matchmaking fame, celebrates the warmth, legacy, and cinematic spirit of Bollywood’s iconic Kapoor family.
