Mangaluru, Nov 21: A beautifully organised mehendi competition was held at Srinivas University Institute of Physiotherapy on November 15, showcasing the artistic talents and cultural creativity of the students. The event aimed to encourage traditional art forms while providing a platform for students to express their imagination through intricate mehendi designs.
As many as 24 participants from BPT enthusiastically took part, presenting a wide range of designs—ranging from classical traditional to Arabic patterns. The competition venue was filled with an atmosphere of excitement as students demonstrated precision, creativity, and aesthetic flair in their artwork.





The judges for the event were Yogeetha Pai, assistant professor, department of interior design, IHMT and Revathy BR, assistant professor, Institute of Education. Participants were evaluated based on design intricacy, neatness, creativity, theme relevance, and overall presentation. Faculty coordinators Dr Rachana Girish PT and Dr Harshitha Kulal PT, assistant professors of IPT supervised the event.
The competition concluded with the presenting of mementos of gratitude to the judges in appreciation of their time and expertise. The event served as a platform for students to display their artistic skills and celebrate cultural heritage, making the event both inspiring and memorable.
